Privacy notice

Unfinished: this notice does not yet name the registered legal entity that controls the data, or a postal address for it. A UK controller has to publish both. No marketing email will be sent to anyone who uses the form until that is filled in — the only mail sent is the reply to your enquiry.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no social widgets. Nothing here follows you anywhere. The only personal data it handles is what you type into the enquiry form.

What the enquiry form collects

• Your name, email address and, if you give one, your company.
• Which of the five options you picked, and your message if you wrote one.
• That you ticked the box agreeing we can reply — stored as evidence of consent.
• A one-way hash of your IP address and a truncated browser string. The hash is used to rate-limit abuse; the address itself is not stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.

What happens to it

It is written to a database file on our own server in the United Kingdom, and emailed to hello@dartsstats.com so a human sees it. The email goes out through Postmark (transactional mail) and the mailbox is hosted by Migadu. Both act as processors for us.

The lawful basis is legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry you sent us, plus your consent for the reply itself. We do not sell or share enquiry data with anyone else, and it is not used for marketing.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then deleted. Ask and we will delete yours sooner.

The CDN

The site is served through Bunny.net, which processes request logs (IP address, URL, user agent) to deliver pages and block abuse, retained on their standard schedule. That is ordinary web-server logging, not tracking.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@dartsstats.com and we will deal with it within a month. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
